Boxer Suren Arakelyan Becomes European Champion

At the ongoing European Championships for junior athletes in Tbilisi, Suren Arakelyan, representing Armenia in the 68 kg weight category, has claimed the title of European champion. This was reported by the press secretary of the Armenian Boxing Federation.

Arthur Mkrtchyan has secured a silver medal in the 56 kg weight category. Tomorrow, Garik Antanossyan (65 kg weight category) and Narek Nersisyan (54 kg weight category) will enter the ring to compete for the champion title.

It is worth noting that bronze medals were awarded to Arman Miskaryan (46 kg), Gor Khudoyan (50 kg), Davit Safaryan (38.5 kg), David Simonyan (72 kg), and Albert Harutyunyan (80 kg).
