Earthquake in Turkey: Panic Among the Population
A new earthquake has been recorded in western Turkey, with a magnitude of 6.0. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), according to the news agency RIA Novosti.
The tremors were felt at 15:25 Yerevan time. The epicenter is located 49 km east of the city of Denizli, at a depth of 7 km.
There are no reports of casualties or damage. Earlier, Turkish media had reported that another earthquake had occurred in İzmir province this morning. Although there were no injuries, the underground tremors have caused panic among the local population.
