A Truck Loaded with Agricultural Products Crashes into a Barrier in Spitak, Driver Killed on the Spot
Today, on August 1, a major and tragic traffic accident occurred in the Lori region. According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 07:40, 64-year-old Khosrov Arakelyan from the village of Alashkert in the Armavir region lost control of his Opel vehicle with license plate 35 UT 232 on the Spitak turns of the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway and crashed into a barrier.
As reported from the scene by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver died on the spot. The vehicle was loaded with agricultural products, and medications were found inside the car, which are primarily used for heart-related issues. There are suspicions that the driver may have suffered a heart attack while driving.
