Direct Flight Brings 132 Passengers Back to Armenia from Hurghada
A portion of Armenians who remained in Egypt have returned to Yerevan. Due to the cancellation of flight OTF 3703, passengers in Hurghada were able to return to Armenia today on flight UJ 5600.
As Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan noted on his Facebook page, the flight was funded by the government, transporting 132 citizens.
It is important to mention that nearly 100 Armenians were stranded in Hurghada due to the cancellation of the flight, having traveled to Egypt for a seaside vacation. The cancellation was attributed to the fact that the Armenian tour operator had not made payments to the airline.
