Wet Festival Begins: Vardavar Celebrated in Parliament
Today, members of parliament are washing carpets on Baghramyan Avenue in celebration of the Vardavar holiday. The initiative was led by MP Hripsime Grigoryan.
The event commenced with a carpet washing ceremony, followed by the official start of Vardavar. Throughout the day, handmade Armenian carpets will be displayed at the National Assembly garden, featuring pieces from 'Tufenkian Carpets', 'Megeryan Carpets', and the Armenian National Carpet Center.
The event will conclude with a concert by the musical group 'Mikayel Voskanian and Friends'.
