Criminal Case Against Yeranosyan Closed
The criminal case regarding the alleged involvement of the former commander of the Armenian Police Forces, Major General Levon Yeranosyan, in a brawl has been closed, according to information from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Armenia.
According to their statement, the case was closed due to a lack of criminal composition.
Recall that on April 7, around 21:00, there was a dispute and brawl on Komitas Boulevard involving Levon Yeranosyan's son and son-in-law. The victim reported to the police that he was assaulted by Khachik Yeranosyan, who is Levon Yeranosyan's son, and his son-in-law, Zhora Sarukhanyan.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 118 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. Charges were brought against Levon Yeranosyan's son and son-in-law, while Levon Yeranosyan holds the status of a witness in this case.
It should be noted that Major General Yeranosyan currently has the status of a defendant in another criminal case.
