A Rat Civilization is Forming in the Center: Alarm Raised

Facebook user Evelina Kantarchyan has made a post on her page, reporting that there are numerous rats in downtown Yerevan.

“Dear Facebook community, I have been silent and patient for a long time, but it has become impossible to endure any longer; my nerves are truly fraying. In the city center, right under the noses of tourists, a rat civilization is forming. The trash bin at the third building on Koghbatsi Street (crossing Amiryans) has not been cleaned for a long time. About a week ago, at the initiative of residents, it was cleaned, at which time the rats had already reached the ninth floor, and now the situation is the same. At night, the pavement in front of the building is filled with rats. I just called the city hall hotline, shouted, demanded, and got emotional. A proud citizen cannot exist if your voice is unheard by the authorities. If you saw the horror we face when rushing out of the elevator, the stress it causes our children.
