Weightlifter Aghasi Aghasyan Passes Away Due to Car Accident, Deputy Minister

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Gevorg Loretsyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Another tragic news... Weightlifter and multiple champion of Armenia Aghasi Aghasyan has passed away prematurely due to a car accident. He would have turned 31 on August 29. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones and wish them patience in this incredibly difficult time. You will always be with us, champion!”
