Message from BHK President Gagik Tsarukyan on the occasion of Constitution Day.

Dear compatriots, I sincerely congratulate all of us on the occasion of the Republic of Armenia's Constitution Day. In 1995, our state and people reaffirmed their determination and resolution to proceed along the path of establishing democratic values and forming a civil society. The adoption of the Constitution, of course, also has exceptional historical significance. It is one of the most important symbols of independent statehood and a fundamental guarantee of our equality before the law.

On this day in 1995, through a nationwide referendum, the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia was adopted, which was subsequently amended in 2005 and 2015. It should serve as a strong foundation for the future prosperity and strengthening of our country.

Once again, congratulating everyone on this momentous day, I express my hope that through our united efforts, we can build a state where fundamental freedoms and rights of citizens guaranteed by the Constitution will be ensured.
