Rustam Badasyan's Friend Appointed Deputy Chairman of the tax Committee: Mediated by the Minister

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Edward Hovhannisyan has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) by the Prime Minister’s decree. He will replace Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan in managing the legal block of taxation.

Unlike many newly appointed officials, Hovhannisyan has experience as he has risen through the ranks of the SRC, going from an ordinary inspector to the head of the SRC's Investigative and Operational Intelligence Department.

It is said that Badasyan himself advocated for his friend, with Hovhannisyan mentioning, "I do not hide my close relationship with Rustam Badasyan; we have been work colleagues, and regarding the involvement aspect, perhaps Mr. Badasyan has expressed his opinion, I do not exclude that."
