New Ranks for Vanetsyan, Valery Osipyan, and Several Others
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, announced on his Facebook page: “In connection with the Constitution Day, I have made the following decisions: - To award the rank of Lieutenant General to Onik Gasparyan, the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces; - To award the rank of Major General to Tamurn Shahnazaryan, the Chief of the Communications Troops of the RA Armed Forces; - To grant a Class III State Advisor rank to Arthur Davtyan, the Prosecutor General; - To award the rank of Major General to Arthur Vanetsyan, the Director of the NSS; - To award the rank of Major General to Valery Osipyan, the Chief of Police; - To grant a Class III State Advisor rank to Hayk Grigoryan, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee; - To grant a Class III State Advisor rank to Sasun Khachatryan, the Head of the Special Investigation Service; - To award the rank of Major General to Grigor Hayrapetyan, the Head of the National Security Service.
The decisions will come into force after the corresponding decrees are signed by the President of the Republic.
