A River Has Formed on the Road to Nurnus Village: Authorities Have Been Unable to Resolve the Issue for Over Two Months
Yesterday, Aurora Media reported that there is a damaged water pipeline in the Kotayk region, with water flowing for over a week. This information was provided to us by residents of the Kotayk region.
Today, more residents contacted Aurora Media, stating that there was an emergency with the water pipeline on the road from the community of Biurakan to Nurnus village, causing drinking water to flood the road. Furthermore, no measures have been taken to stop the drinking water leak.
Aurora Media reached out to the Governor of Kotayk region, Romanos Petrosyan, who stated that Veolia Water is working at the site. He also urged not to exacerbate the situation, as water is supplied through these pipelines to several districts, and they cannot completely shut off the water supply.
