Stray Dogs Attack People in Yerevan, Injured Individuals Hospitalized
On June 26, at 21:21, a call was received by the "911" service reporting that stray dogs were attacking people near building number 84 on Raffi Street in Yerevan, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.
A rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Special Rescue Operations Center was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two mixed-breed dogs were present at the location, which, according to residents, had attacked passersby. The injured individuals were transported to a medical center by citizens.
The canine unit of the rescue service attempted to sedate the dogs using an inflatable device (a tube through which a syringe is blown, with the drug effect lasting one hour, after which the animal returns to its normal state) to safely relocate them. However, the rescuers were unsuccessful in neutralizing the dogs, as the animals fled the scene.
