‘My Step’ Proposes New Candidate for Supreme Judicial Council Member
The statement by Ararat Mirzoyan regarding the nomination and election of a member of the Supreme Judicial Council has been posted on the National Assembly’s website.
According to the second part of Article 144 of the Constitutional Law on the ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ the ‘My Step’ faction of the National Assembly has nominated Anna Razmikian Margaryan as a candidate for the member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
As stated in the announcement from the head of the parliament, in accordance with the fifth part of Article 144 of the Constitutional Law on the ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ the issue of electing a member of the Supreme Judicial Council will be discussed immediately after the close of the extraordinary session of the National Assembly convened by the Government initiative on June 28, followed by an extraordinary session convened on the initiative of the members of the National Assembly.
