«Hayakakh» Newspaper: Active Efforts Being Made on Constitutional Court Members to Submit Resignations
«Hayakakh» newspaper reports: The developments around the Constitutional Court are being planned by the authorities to proceed in a direction similar to that taken with the Supreme Judicial Council. According to certain information, efforts are currently being made to encourage members of the Constitutional Court to voluntarily submit their resignations, allowing the Court to be filled with judges preferred by the government.
The issue is that it is not possible to achieve the dissolution of the Constitutional Court or rid itself of its old members in the legal realm unless they submit resignation letters. That is why the authorities are shifting their strategy against them to the area of kompromat.
Additionally, it is known that the vetting of judges will be conducted by the Supreme Judicial Council and the Anti-Corruption Committee, with its project to be presented to the National Assembly shortly.
