Anna Hakobyan Hands Over Armenian Passport to American Citizen
The wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, has handed over an Armenian passport to a diasporic citizen living in the United States. She noted the event on her Facebook page: “It is incredibly uplifting that our compatriots in the diaspora, inspired by the changes and new developments in Armenia, are returning to their homeland and obtaining Armenian citizenship. I congratulate Vardges Sargsyan, who resides in the United States, on receiving the passport of the Republic of Armenia,” Hakobyan wrote.
