SCS Prevents Smuggled Pharmaceuticals Marked in Turkish
Employees of the Internal Security and Anti-Smuggling Departments of the State Revenue Committee, as a result of joint operational-investigative measures, prevented the smuggling of a large quantity of pharmaceuticals marked in Turkish from Georgia to Armenia at the "Zvartnots" airport on June 19.
According to the SCS, the pharmaceuticals were purchased in Turkey, with Georgia serving as a transit zone in this case. The committee urges Armenian citizens to pay attention to the presence of the stamp provided by the State Revenue Committee and the labeling in Armenian when purchasing pharmaceuticals.
