VIDEO: Protest Action. Voghjaberd Residents Demand Landslide Solutions

Residents of Voghjaberd community in Kotayk Province gathered today, awaiting the arrival of Governor Romanos Petrosyan. People living in a dangerous zone have been demanding for months that the landslide issues be resolved and that they receive compensation. Due to the landslides, their homes have developed cracks.

A few weeks ago, the residents had approached the governor and are now waiting for his response. Earlier, Romanos Petrosyan stated that the residents' protest was 'sabotage,' to which the residents responded that the government is not helping them, and that 'the governor is perhaps trying to emerge from this situation.'

Later, Petrosyan approached the protesting residents to discuss the issue.
