Vahe Grigoryan Elected as CC Judge
Vahe Grigoryan, nominated by Armenian President Armen Sarkisian, has been elected as a judge of the Constitutional Court.
The chairman of the National Assembly's counting commission, Vahagn Hakobyan, announced the results of the closed voting for the position of CC judge. According to the results, 99 MPs voted in favor of Vahe Grigoryan while 22 voted against him.
The timing of Vahe Grigoryan's swearing-in will be announced later.
It is noteworthy that President Armen Sarkisian had nominated Vahe Grigoryan for the vacant position on the Constitutional Court.
