Mercedes Vehicle Rolls Over on Akhuryan-Basen Road, One Injured
The Emergency Situations Ministry's 911 service received a call today, June 16, at 16:49, reporting an accident on the Akhuryan-Basen highway, necessitating rescue assistance. This information was provided by the Ministry's press service.
A firefighting and rescue squad from the ministry promptly arrived at the scene. It was determined that a Mercedes vehicle (driver: H.S., born in 1992) had veered off the roadway at the 5th km of the Akhuryan-Basen highway, resulting in the car rolling over. As a result of the incident, the driver sustained various degrees of bodily injuries and was hospitalized at Gyumri Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as moderately serious.
The rescuers de-energized the vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
