Reality television star Kim Kardashian has once again returned to the issue of prison reform, speaking for a second time at the White House in support of the need for reforms in the penal system and for the better treatment of inmates.

“Since the passing of the First Step Act in December, I have spoken to many people who have returned home from prison and learned about the challenges they face. While I was able to help some of them, there are countless others who encounter numerous daily obstacles on their path to success. It is a great honor for me to participate in the announcement today that the administration and private sector are creating opportunities for men and women returning home,” Kardashian wrote on Twitter.
