Deputy Minister of Defense Had Serious Conversation with My Step Alliance

According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, discussions regarding the performance report of the 2018 budget continue in the National Assembly. On June 5, a closed meeting of the National Assembly’s Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Committee was supposed to take place to discuss the budget performance of the Ministry of Defense.

However, as announced that day, Minister Davit Tonoyan was on a business trip, so he would be presenting the performance report of the 2018 budget in the National Assembly today. But it turns out that the rescheduling has a backstory.

Specifically, on June 5, Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan was in the National Assembly and had a serious conversation with the ruling faction. According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, Gabriel Balayan said that he could present the 2018 budget performance report, but he was explained that this could not happen as it was stated and instructed by the Prime Minister that the top officials must be present at the discussions.

It is noteworthy that even Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan, who was on vacation, showed up in the National Assembly yesterday and personally participated in the discussions about the performance report of the 2018 budget. Only the Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan did not come to the budget discussions in the Assembly.
