The police have presented details regarding the murder that took place on June 11 in the village of Aratashen, Armavir Province.

According to sources, at around 15:30 on June 11, the emergency service received a call at the Vagharchapat police station reporting that there were deceased individuals in Aratashen village. The operational group that arrived at the scene determined that a 63-year-old man living in Aratashen had fired shots with a hunting rifle at his 61-year-old wife and her 70-year-old brother. They succumbed to their injuries.

The preliminary assumption is that the incident was the result of domestic disputes. The man was neutralized by a criminal investigator from the Vagharchapat police department, who is also a resident of Aratashen and was on vacation at the time. The operational group that arrived at the scene took the suspect into custody. The weapon used in the crime has been confiscated.
