Mass Food Poisoning Reported After Wedding at Restaurant
A Facebook user named Hermine Ghazaryan has shared a photo of herself in a hospital, detailing her experience at the White Hall by Tsirani restaurant. She wrote, “Besides the fact that the food tasted bad, there were flies in your drinks and food, and you find yourself unconscious in the infectious diseases unit due to food poisoning at night. About 300 other people are in the same situation as you.”
Aurora News learned that the wedding took place on June 8 at the Tsirani restaurant. “I participated in the wedding at the aforementioned restaurant on the 8th. The next evening, my condition sharply deteriorated—I had nausea, fever, and diarrhea. At first, I thought I had just caught a cold, but after talking to acquaintances who also attended the wedding, I found out that their conditions were even worse,” one of the guests mentioned in a conversation with us.
The citizen stated that they had only eaten “Caesar” salad, grilled meat, and cheese at the restaurant. “When I went to the hospital for a check-up, they immediately asked which hall I had been in at the restaurant for the celebration; it turned out they were already aware of the issue,” the citizen noted.
Aurora News contacted a representative of the Tsirani restaurant, who indicated that they would get back to us later.
