After the Abovyan Elections, CPP Members Believe Armenia Needs Strong Leadership Now: Zhamanak
According to "Zhamanak" newspaper, after the municipal elections in Abovyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that the revolution and democracy won in those elections.
However, our sources within the CPP indicate that there is significant dissatisfaction within the party regarding such democracy and its consequences. CPP members believe that Armenia is still not ready for democracy and that strong leadership is necessary to free the country from the clannish system; otherwise, that system will quickly devour both democracy and the revolution.
