Water Releases from Lake Sevan

Water releases for irrigation purposes have begun from Lake Sevan. As reported to "Armenpress" by the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' "Hayhydromet" service, the releases commenced on June 9, and by June 10, the volume of water discharged from the lake had reached 1 million 405 thousand cubic meters.

According to the same source, on June 10, the water level of Lake Sevan matched the level recorded on the same day last year, standing at 1,900 meters and 80 centimeters above sea level. From April 2019 to June 10, a total of 99 million 827 thousand cubic meters of water has been transferred to Lake Sevan through the Arpa-Sevan tunnel.
