13 People Hospitalized Due to Food Poisoning Symptoms

On the morning of June 8, 13 patients were admitted to the "Nork" Infectious Diseases Hospital with complaints of nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and high fever.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, following organized epidemiological investigations, it was determined that all patients had attended a home celebration on June 6.

The preliminary and likely cause has been identified as an egg-based sauce prepared under home conditions for a salad. The condition of the patients is assessed as moderate severity. Biological samples have been taken from all patients for laboratory investigations, which are currently underway.
