On March 1, They Called from the Government, I Went: Gagik Tsarukyan
Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, discussed the events of March 1, 2008, during a meeting with journalists at the National Assembly today.
He refused to answer whether he had been interrogated in relation to the March 1 case, emphasizing that such questions should be directed to law enforcement agencies.
“Ask them,” Tsarukyan said.
The Special Investigative Service neither confirms nor denies the information published in the media regarding his interrogation, to which Tsarukyan immediately responded:
“I neither confirm nor exclude it; do you have anything to say?”
A journalist, referencing a statement by Seda Safaryan, a member of the Fact-Finding Group on the March 1 case, mentioned that according to that statement, Gagik Tsarukyan and Samvel Aleksanyan provided food and uniforms to the military on March 1, 2008.
