What Economic Benefits Does Armenia Gain from EAEU Integration, According to Tigran Sargsyan?

Tigran Sargsyan, the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission, commented on the results of EAEU integration at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“We presented a report on the results of EAEU integration for the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic and we see that these results definitely speak about economic benefits,” Sargsyan mentioned during his speech, as reported by Rusarminfo.

In particular, the head of the EEC highlighted that the volume of exports from the two countries has increased by more than 30 percent annually. According to him, this result is a significant contribution and impetus for the economic growth of both countries.

Tigran Sargsyan also emphasized that the principle of equal representation is in effect within the EAEU, where all countries have an equal number of votes, as well as the right to veto.
