Increase the Minimum Wage: Proposal in the National Assembly
During the discussion of the 2018 budget in the National Assembly, Babken Tunyan, the chairman of the parliamentary economic committee, announced that he is working on a draft with one of his fellow lawmakers to raise the minimum wage threshold to 63,000 drams.
Currently, it stands at 55,000 drams per month.
