A Group of Armenian Specialists Has Departed for Syria

In order to provide humanitarian professional assistance to the people of Syria, a new group consisting of humanitarian demining experts, doctors, and Armenian specialists responsible for their immediate safety arrived in the Syrian Arab Republic (Aleppo) on June 4.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Armenian specialists will engage in humanitarian activities such as demining, public awareness on landmine safety, and providing medical services, exclusively in areas free from military operations.

The transportation of Armenian specialists to the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as their security issues, have been carried out with the support of the Russian side.
