Akkos Weekly No Longer Available on Turkish Airlines Flights

Turkish Airlines has long been distributing the Armenian weekly newspaper "Akkos" alongside Turkish newspapers for free to passengers in the international flights section of Istanbul Airport. However, last week, the management of Turkish Airlines unilaterally terminated the contract with "Akkos."

In the written communication, the only justification provided was that the decision was made "out of necessity."

It is noteworthy that "Akkos" newspapers had been placed in the section for in-flight newspapers on international flights by Turkish Airlines since 2013.
