A New Model of Police Will Be Established
The newspaper "Jharhar" reports that the roadmap for the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU is nearly ready and will soon be approved. The final version is expected to be completed by June 13, after which it will be presented to the Armenia-EU Council for approval and subsequently adopted by the Prime Minister.
Details of the roadmap have been revealed to the newspaper "Jharhar." Firstly, changes are planned within the police system before the end of 2019 to create a new model of police and to reform the traffic police service.
The next change, which is also to be implemented by the end of this year, concerns human rights and judicial reforms. According to this plan, the number of judges in Armenia is set to be increased, which will be carried out by 2022.
