Strong Winds Cause Damage in Arazap Village
In the Armavir region, on May 26 at around 18:00, strong winds began affecting the Arazap community, resulting in significant damage, reports Shamshyan.com.
The wind was so powerful that it completely tore off the tin roof of the Arazap village club and hurled it several dozen meters, damaging the home of Marine Khachatryan located in front of the club and an adjacent structure, including a greenhouse. Due to the flying tin from the club, windows were shattered and the gates of the house were broken.
The wind also damaged the gas pipeline running near the house, leading to a severe gas leak. Electricity wires along the street were also damaged, causing power outages in some homes.
According to the source, Arazap is not the only village in Armavir region affected by strong winds; in Myasnikyan village, hail has damaged the crops and orchards of over 20 farmers.
