Pashinyan Receives Letter from the Venice Commission
According to sources from 168.am, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a rather harshly worded letter from the Venice Commission on Friday. The Commission condemned the blocking of court entrances as a result of Pashinyan's call and the direct involvement of government MPs in these actions.
The Venice Commission attributed the actions of the Prime Minister and his team to the release of Robert Kocharyan, disguised under the guise of an anti-corruption struggle. The Commission examined all statements made by the Armenian Prime Minister and representatives of the authorities during those days, which served as the basis for completing its assessment.
According to our information, the Armenian government is seriously concerned about this assessment from the Venice Commission.
