Mnatsakanyan Meets Stanislav Zas

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, has met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Stanislav Zas. This information was confirmed by the spokeswoman for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, in an interview with NEWS.am.

It is worth noting that Stanislav Zas will be received by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan tomorrow. Additionally, Zas is the candidate for the position of Secretary General of the CSTO, in accordance with the decision made during the ministerial meeting held in Bishkek.

It should be recalled that the position of Secretary General of the CSTO has been vacant since November 2, 2018, when, at the initiative of the Armenian side, Yuri Khachaturov was recalled from the post. Khachaturov has faced charges under Article 300.1 of the Armenian Criminal Code in connection with the March 1 case.
