Lightning Strikes Soyuz Rocket at Launch
At the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, lightning struck the Russian Soyuz-2.1b rocket at the moment of its launch. The rocket was carrying the GLONASS-M satellite. The lightning strike did not impact the normal operation of the equipment, and the satellite successfully entered Earth's orbit within the scheduled timeframe.
