The Application Related to Kocharian's Case is at the Preliminary Review Stage in the Constitutional Court

The application regarding the case of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and others, which was sent by the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, was received by the Constitutional Court on May 20, in the latter half of the day. This information was published on the official Facebook page of the Constitutional Court.

"The application is currently at the preliminary review stage. The preliminary review of the application is conducted in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established by the regulations of the Constitutional Court," the statement from the Constitutional Court indicated.

It is noteworthy that on May 20, the proceedings against Robert Kocharian, former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, and former Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov were suspended by court decision and referred to the Constitutional Court.
