Early Elections to be Held in Two Communities of Armenia
The government has made a decision during today's session to hold two elections.
First, an early election for the head of the Getap community in Shirak Province will be held on September 29. Gor Stepanyan, the current head of Getap, was elected to the position on October 2, 2016, but submitted his resignation on April 19 of this year.
Additionally, another decision was made to hold an early election for the head of the Vanevan community in Gegharkunik Province on September 29 as well. Norair Harutyunyan, the head of Vanevan, was elected to the position on June 10, 2018.
