Zelensky Proposes to Strip MPs of Immunity and Dissolve Rada

The newly elected President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced plans to dissolve the Supreme Rada and strip parliament members of their immunity. This was reported by tvrain.ru, stating that Zelensky made the announcement during the ceremonial swearing-in of lawmakers.

In his speech, he also called on the government to resign.

Russia Today added that the president suggested dismissing the country’s Attorney General and Minister of Defense.

Interestingly, it has just been reported that Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak has submitted his resignation.
