Footage of Attack on Hrant Margaryan Transmitted to Police: Gegham Manukyan

Gegam Manukyan, the director of news and public-political programs at the ARF's "Yerkir Media" television channel, informed through his Facebook page that the footage of the attack on Hrant Margaryan has been transmitted to the police.

“Today, I presented to the police the numerous video recordings of the brutal attack by a group of individuals on former ARF Bureau representative Hrant Margaryan, as well as on his family and grandchildren, which took place on Saturday in Freedom Square. These recordings will be attached to the ongoing investigation.”

“I assume that a criminal case will soon be initiated under the characteristics of group hooliganism.”

“By the way, the police reacted quickly to the call and initiated an investigation shortly after the incident. Thanks to the rapid response and professional actions of the police, a more serious confrontation was avoided.”

“Otherwise, if they had not responded quickly, Hrant Margaryan's son, Mkhitar Margaryan, would have shattered the noses of several participants, for which he had both a moral and legal right, since his two young children were in danger. However, the children have been quite frightened.”

“P.S. So far, there has been no response from the Armenian authorities.”
