The Government is Taking Steps Backwards: Hraparak

According to the newspaper "Hraparak", "While the Lebanese organization is about to give its conclusion regarding the Amulsar mine, we have learned that the government is already taking steps backwards.

"Lydian Armenia" has presented two demands to the court to remove the obstacles to the operation of the mine. One is to oblige the police to remove the intrusion from its territory so they can operate, as the police had not responded to its requests. The court has granted this demand, and the police, which had the right to appeal this decision, did not file a cassation appeal, making the decision effective.

The second decision concerns the prosecutor's office, which had rejected initiating a criminal case against those obstructing the mine's operations. "Lydian" had approached the court, requesting to compel the prosecutor's office to initiate a criminal case; the first instance had rejected the demand, and the appellate court had granted it. It seems that the prosecutor's office was supposed to appeal this decision, but the 15-day deadline has passed without an appeal.

This indicates that the government's response has been alerted by "Lydian"'s announcement of seeking international arbitration.
