Suren Sahakyan: The NAC's Response Regarding Tsarukyan Marks Only the Beginning of the Process

Member of the 'Citizens’ Decision' party Suren Sahakyan wrote on his Facebook page: 'In response to journalists’ requests to comment on the NAC's decision, I must inform you that we have not yet received official responses to our applications sent to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, the Chairman of the National Assembly, and the three factions of the National Assembly. Only after receiving and analyzing these responses will it be possible to form a clear idea of the direction in which this matter will ultimately move.

But I want to assure you that such a response was the most likely, and it only marks the beginning of the process, not its conclusion. This is a process that, regardless of the will of the parties involved, will lead to significant legislative changes which, we hope, will permanently resolve the issue of separating business from government management systems.

The 'Citizens’ Decision' party will likely choose the most suitable option for a press conference in response, which will take place no later than the second day after receiving the replies.'
