Supporters and Opponents of Kocharian to Clash Again

The newspaper «Zhoghvorud» reports: «Today, a decision regarding Robert Kocharian's alternative measure will be announced. As it is known, yesterday's court session was held behind closed doors. Outside the court, Kocharian's supporters clashed with opposition members, leading to frequent confrontations.

According to the information from the newspaper «Zhoghvorud», a meeting between representatives of both sides is expected in front of the court today, which also threatens to escalate into confrontation. It is worth noting that today, there will likely be more opposition members present to support Robert Kocharian, with a more organized approach, and it cannot be ruled out that a large portion will be members of the «Civil Contract» and «Armenian National Congress» parties.

Interestingly, those who came to support Kocharian yesterday displayed posters with images of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, even though their demand is directed at the authorities and Ter-Petrosyan has not been in power in Armenia for quite some time.»
