Press Secretary on the Meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev

The press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Vladimir Karapetyan, has provided details about the interaction between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Brussels.

Vladimir Karapetyan noted that the parties exchanged thoughts regarding the current situation.

“I should say that it was an official event organized in honor of the Eastern Partnership countries. Yes, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan were at the same table,” he stated.

According to a correspondent from Armenpress, there was a brief interaction where they discussed the situation along the line of contact. In other words, they exchanged views regarding the situation,” said Vladimir Karapetyan.

When asked if recent border incidents were addressed, Vladimir Karapetyan replied that concerns had been communicated.

An official dinner was held in Brussels in honor of the tenth anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, hosted by Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in attendance.
