General Manvel Grigoryan and His Wife Do Not Consider Themselves Guilty

Former president of the Yerkrapah Union and former MP, General Manvel Grigoryan, does not accept the charges brought against him. This statement was made today, on May 13, in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

Grigoryan attended the court session accompanied by a doctor.

After the prosecutor's announcement of the indictment, presiding judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan asked Grigoryan if he understood the essence of the charges against him.

"The charges are clear, but I do not consider myself guilty," Grigoryan declared, adding, "Let me give you an example. They say Nazik Amiryan is guilty. I had seven deputies in Yerkrapah, each assigned to a specific case, what does Nazik Amiryan have to do with those events? Who has written down what was discussed in the streets?"
