Vladimir Putin played hockey in Sochi as part of the 'Legends of Hockey' team.

The President of the Russian Federation fell on the ice during the gala game of the 8th All-Russian Amateur Hockey Festival.

The game took place in Sochi, where Putin decided to express his gratitude to the audience for their support. While gliding on the ice, he overlooked the red carpet laid out and fell down.

He was quickly assisted to get back on his feet, after which he resumed greeting the fans.

The President reportedly made the most shots on the opponent's goal, although the exact number is unclear.
