The Government is Parting Ways with Davit Harutyunyan's Associate
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "Nune Khachatryan, the head of the Ministry of Justice’s staff, has taken a vacation and, according to our information, will not return. Perhaps the new government has decided not to work with old, experienced personnel.
She has been working in the government staff since 1997, initially as a leading specialist in the Prime Minister's office, then moving to the Ministry of Justice as an assistant to the minister, an advisor, and later the head of staff. After serving as an advisor to the Prosecutor General, she was appointed deputy to Davit Harutyunyan when he became the head of the government staff. In 2017, she returned to the Ministry of Justice as head of staff.
She is considered an associate of Davit Harutyunyan. The press secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Lusine Martirosyan, told us: "I confirm that Ms. Nune Khachatryan, the chief secretary of the Ministry of Justice, has submitted another vacation request." When asked about her "not returning" later, the spokesperson said she had no such information.
Details can be found in today’s issue of the newspaper."
