Armen Sargsyan and Serzh Sargsyan Meet - Why is Serzh Sargsyan Discontent?

The newspaper 'Zhogevor' reports: 'President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan and leader of the Republican Party Serzh Sargsyan have met. According to our sources, Serzh Sargsyan expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that he feels slighted because he 'brought' A. Sargsyan to the presidency, yet the president supports the current government's working style.

According to these reports, Serzh Sargsyan has declared that Armen Sargsyan signs all the laws passed. Armen Sargsyan, in turn, countered that if he does not sign them, he cannot obstruct their passage, as there is no justification for rejecting them or imposing any legal consequences.

Armen Sargsyan also hinted at the constitutional amendment that reduced presidential powers during Serzh Sargsyan's rule.

'Zhogevor' attempted to obtain a comment on this issue from Armen Sargsyan's assistant, Hasmik Petrosyan, but she did not respond to our calls.'
