Trump Discusses Phone Call with Putin

US President Donald Trump has assessed his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin as effective.

In a message on his Twitter account, Trump stated, "I had a long and productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. As I said before the start of the 'witch hunt,' having a relationship with Russia and China is a good thing, not a bad thing."

The US President mentioned that during the conversation, issues regarding trade, Venezuela, Ukraine, North Korea, and preventing the spread of nuclear weapons were discussed. The phone call between the two leaders lasted approximately one and a half hours.
